Tradition and renewal

186 years B.C. Hunan(XIANG), China
“Ride the Clouds Embroidery”
The pattern is from the No. 1 Han Tomb of Mawangdui in Changsha, more than 2,000 years ago.
Culturally, the cloud motif signifies exaltation and wishful thinking. This pattern reflects the people's yearning and pursuit of a better life at that time.

1915 San Francisco, California
“Lotus and Crane”
In 1915, the Panama Pacific Universal Exposition was held in San Francisco.
The traditional art embroidery “Lotus and Crane Picture” selected by China, featuring the lotus flower (symbolizing purity) and the crane (symbolizing longevity), won the Gold Medal for its oriental aesthetics.
